Mark Thompson, BSc(Hons) QS, FRICS, FAIQS is the founder and driving force behind Contract & Quantum. After graduating with an BSc honours degree in Quantity Surveying, Mark has worked for top tier contractors and claims consultancies throughout the UK, Australia and Asia for over thirty five years. During this time, Mark has gained significant experience in the contractual and commercial aspects of infrastructure, civil, mechanical, electrical, building, rail and water projects.

Mark is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Member of the Resolution Institute.

Mark has established Contract & Quantum in Sydney to provide effective, practical and professional services to the construction industry across Australia and New Zealand.
